Upward soccer provides everything young athletes need to develop mentally, athletically, spiritually, and socially through sports.

Why Upward?

Upward Soccer programming focuses on building a healthy competitive spirit and developing soccer skills in young athletes while reaching them with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mission is based on Luke 2:52: “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.”

With everyone busier than ever, Upward Soccer’s schedule of one, one-hour practice during the week and one, one-hour game each week on Saturday is designed with your family in mind! After evaluations, every child is placed on a team and has an equal opportunity for playing time throughout the season. All evaluations, practices, and games are held at the TBC sports fields, rather than requiring families to travel to multiple locations during the season. At TBC, we are able to welcome players ranging from K5-8th grade as participants in our Upward Soccer league.

Volunteers

Our volunteers are crucial to our Upward Soccer league. Coaches, referees, and other volunteers provide a Christ-like example for players and families. All of our volunteers serve to accomplish the mission of TBC’s Upward leagues: promoting the discovery of Jesus Christ through sports.

Other volunteers are always needed to help on evaluation day, be a part of our league prayer team, work in the concessions stand, serve on the groundskeeper crew, and more! Reach out to our program director, Aidan Brooks, and he would be happy to help find a place for you to serve that best utilizes your skills and availability.
