Learn More About Our Upward Basketball & Cheerleading League
Upward Basketball & Cheerleading programming focuses on building a healthy competitive spirit and developing athletic skills in young athletes while reaching them with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mission is based on Luke 2:52: “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.”
At Triad Baptist Church, all Upward Sports teams practice on one evening each week, for one hour. Teams play one game each week on Saturdays. All practices and games take place on our spacious, inviting campus on South Main Street in Kernersville.
Players ranging from K5-8th grade and cheerleaders ranging from K5-4th grade are welcome to take part as participants in our league. Flag football divisions will be based on players' grade level to foster a safe and competitive environment.

Get Involved
Our volunteers are crucial to our Upward Basketball & Cheerleading league. Coaches, referees, and other volunteers provide a Christ-like example for players and families. All volunteers serve to accomplish the mission of TBC’s Upward leagues; promoting the discovery of Jesus Christ through sports.
