Tan Lynn: A Journey of Faith, Family, and Service

Hello! My name is Tan Lynn, and I have been married to my wonderful wife, Billie Dawn, since 1998. We are blessed with two sons, ages 23 and 14. I have worked as a Specialist Detailer and Car Wash Technician at Flow Audi, Subaru, Acura, and VW since 2008, taking pride in providing excellent service.

Commitment to Deaf Ministry
My journey in Deaf ministry began in 2004, teaching Deaf Bible Study at Arran Lake Baptist Church in Fayetteville, NC. In 2006, God led my family to Winston-Salem, NC, where I served at Calvary Baptist Church in various roles:
Bus Ministry & Usher (2006-2017)
Deaf Sunday School Teacher & Substitute Speaker (2007-2018)
Substitute Pastor (2014-2018)
In 2015, I founded Silent Outreach Ministries (SOM) to further serve the Deaf community and became Director of the Silent Men’s Conference. That same year, I also began serving as a Pre-Marriage Counselor at Calvary Baptist and Triad Baptist.

Current Role
Today, I am the Director of Deaf Ministries at Triad Baptist Church in Kernersville, NC, where I am honored to be the church’s first Deaf Deacon. Since 2019, I have been teaching ASL classes and, in 2021, resumed teaching Deaf Sunday School at Triad.

Beyond Ministry
I enjoy serving my community—helping with car repairs, hospital visits, and outdoor adventures. In my free time, I collect Hot Wheels cars and seek ways to make a positive impact on those around me.
