Remembering the Truth About Christmas
There is no way you can celebrate Christmas and leave "Christ" out of the "mas." Jesus Christ is the whole story. Whether Christ was born on December 25th or not, is irrelevant. The reality is that it is a historical fact and a biblical fact. He was here, and he lived and he revolutionized the world. He is why the hearts of the father turn back to the family and why people can be reconciled one to another and serve with a true heart of worship. Jesus Christ went to the cross and paid the ultimate sacrifice for our sin because he was born ultimately to die. It is because of that very self sacrifice that we can celebrate hope, love, and brotherly kindness during the Christmas season; because of the greatest gift, Jesus Christ, we have life! "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." John 10:10
Merry Christmas, Pastor Rob
