ABOUT TBC

TBC Worship Center 2021

Founded in 1983, Triad Baptist Church is a family of more than 1,400 with a mission to guide individuals toward Christ both in the Piedmont Triad area and in more than a dozen countries. From our wooded, 90 acre campus in the heart of Kernersville, we seek to honor Christ by worshiping our living God, connecting with people, serving our community, and reaching the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Visitors and members have described us as “friendly” and “Biblically sound!"

The many ministries directed by Triad have a united purpose. Whether it be our youth and children’s ministries, including the pre K-12th grade academy; worldwide missions outreach; our ministries for moms, for those grieving, for those with cancer; our Sunday evening seminars on practical topics such as managing finances, strengthening marriages, and parenting; the Connect Groups, which offer small-group support, fellowship, and teaching; or if it is any of our other many ministries; our goal is to build stronger relationships with God through our church and to make a difference in Kernersville and beyond.

Stronger lives, stronger families, and stronger communities … it’s a never-ending journey of faith.

Got questions? We have answers!

When and where are your services?

We have two worship times on Sunday mornings. Our 9:00 AM features traditional worship and our 10:30 AM features contemporary worship. While both messages are identical, we would encourage you to choose based on your worship style. Our services are held in our Worship Center, 1175 South Main Street, Kernersville, NC. Directly across from Walmart. Check out our Campus Map before you visit.

What do I do when I get there?

We would love to meet you! Stop by our Welcome Center, there, one of our friendly Front Line Connection members will greet you and give you a special gift from our staff. The Front Line Connection Greeters are here for you, whether you need a guide to find one of our classrooms or other worship areas, or you just want to know more about our Outreach Programs. Be sure to stop by our New Here table when you arrive.

What about my kids?

We have a safe, fun kids worship experience in our Kids Street Worship Center during either service. Our awesome volunteers are ready to serve your children while you attend our morning service. One of our Front Line Greeters will guide you to the right place. To learn more about Kids Street, check out this page.

What are the services like?

Our 9:00 AM service incorporates a blend of hymns and praise choruses led by our worship leader and choir.

Our 10:30 AM service incorporates the most current worship songs and is led by our worship leader and band.

Our lead pastor, Rob Decker, speaks in both services.

Both services last a little over an hour and are designed to encourage you to engage in the corporate worship of our great God. We pray that your worship experience here is an uplifting start to your week and hope that you will worship with us again soon.

What next?

We're here to help you get connected and to answer any questions you have about our church or spiritual growth. Just drop us a line, give us a call (336) 996-7573, or stop by our offices during the week (Monday-Thursday). Our purpose at Triad Baptist Church is to connect people to God, to other believers, and to service. There is a place for you to connect at TBC and we believe that the process starts in a small group setting. By spending time each week with one of our Connect Groups, you can build relationships with others, share life with them, and be encouraged to pursue Jesus Christ in all that you do. Learn more about our Connect Groups here
