Weekday CIRCLES
Weekday CIRCLES are our version of small groups (formerly called Connect Groups). To visit or join a group, contact Pastor Jason—he’ll help you find the best fit.
Because these groups are smaller, there are size limits based on the group style and meeting location. Weekday CIRCLES range from Bible and book studies to athletic hangouts, offering something for everyone.
Check out the Find Your Circle guide below. If you still have questions, call the church office Monday–Thursday at 336.996.7573, or stop by the Welcome Center on Sunday mornings. Our friendly Encounter Team Greeters will be happy to provide more information.
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another.”
- Hebrews 10:24-25
WHY CIRCLES?
God is not concerned only with man’s salvation, but his sanctification. He doesn’t want His people to just float through life, but to grow in holiness. Scripture tells us that this occurs in the community.
To be properly stirred up to live out our faith, we must first be together with other Christians.
We are aware that many who visit or attend our Sunday services are not involved beyond them. While present with the rest of the church for worship, they can sometimes feel like ‘spiritual strangers’ with the people around them. It can be daunting for them to find community in a church so large, especially with how hectic life can be.
The goal of CIRCLES is to make Christian community more simple and accessible for those who have not yet gotten involved. We pray that this will lower the barrier to discipleship for growing Christians in our church, and create opportunities for fellowship across the body.
