Pickleball has exploded nationwide, and we're excited to introduce youth pickleball as our newest Upward Sports offering! Upward Pickleball programming focuses on building a healthy competitive spirit and developing soccer skills in young athletes while reaching them with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mission is based on Luke 2:52: “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.”
Upward Pickleball is a weekly pickleball clinic and pickup game experience offered over the summer for players ranging from 3rd-8th grade (completed). Each week during the season, coaches will work with players in groups to teach the fundamentals of pickleball for the first half of the night, before pausing for a 'halftime' break and devotion. For the remainder of the night, players will break up into teams to face off in quick, exciting matches.
Registration for Upward Pickleball closes on June 1st. Space is limited due to Upward Pickleball being a new program at TBC.

Where are you located?
Upward Pickleball will meet in the Activity Center (upstairs gym) at Triad Baptist Church in Kernersville.
Does my child need any equipment?
There is no required equipment, but players are encouraged to bring a pickleball paddle if they have one. All necessary equipment will be provided.
Who are the coaches?
Upward Pickleball coaches are vetted members of Triad Baptist Church who have a passion for reaching the community for Christ, through sports.
Get Involved
Our volunteers are crucial to our Upward Pickleball league. Coaches and other volunteers provide a Christ-like example for players and families. All volunteers serve to accomplish the mission of TBC’s Upward leagues; promoting the discovery of Jesus Christ through sports.
