Jingle Bells ... Jingle Bells ... This will make your day! The 2024 Kids Street Christmas play is scheduled for Wednesday night, December 11th and we want YOU to join us as we begin preparations to celebrate Jesus' birthday with a play!
NOTE: Our Kickoff Night to begin rehearsals is scheduled for Wednesday night, September 11th and we will meet to rehearse each Wednesday thereafter until late November from 6:30-7:30 pm. We will be meeting IN THE GATHERING ROOM OF THE NEW
BUILDING. On Kickoff Night, we will distribute listening CD's and also a timeline of important rehearsal dates, especially those non-Wednesday night rehearsals closer to the holidays. ALL children Age 4 to Grade 5 who want to participate are required to register for this Christmas choir. Click HERE to register your child!
For our Christmas program this year, we will be presenting IT ALL HAPPENED IN THE COUNTRY, a widely-loved children’s Christmas musical that has been performed in countless churches over the years and become a revered favorite among all ages. Daniel and Chelsea, two city slickers, get stranded in the country and find out there is more to Christmas than the hustle and bustle of presents and decorations. With the help of Cora May, cousin Luther, Uncle Yule and Granny, they learn the story of Christ's birth and how it all happened in the country ... the countryside of Bethlehem. Come and relive this timeless musical as you remember the story that never gets old – the birth of Christ.
