Who Should Be Baptized?
Baptism is for anyone who has accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It’s a public declaration of faith and an act of obedience to Christ’s command (Matthew 28:19-20). Salvation comes through faith in Jesus’ death and resurrection as the only payment for sin (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:9-10).
You don’t need to “clean up” your life first—baptism follows belief and is a step of obedience and follows salvation. (Acts 2:41, Acts 8:36-38).
