Coronavirus Update

3/17/2020 Update
Due to concerns over the Covid-19 Virus and the health and safety of attendees, we are canceling the following events until virus concerns subside:
  • Mom Connection on Thursday, March 19th
  • reSTART on Friday, March 20th
  • Amateur Radio Licensing Class
  • SNAC classes
In an effort to be cautious, Triad Baptist Church has made the decision to adhere to the recommendations from the CDC (Centers for Disease Control) in regard to the recent Coronavirus outbreak. Our Team is committed to prepare, monitor, and respond appropriately to help in the prevention of the virus in our community.

WHAT OUR CHURCH IS DOING

  • We will not have a greeting time during our services and suggest that handshaking not be done as we welcome each other.

  • Awake Coffee Shop will continue to be open, however, our complimentary Keurig coffee service will be temporarily discontinued as another level of precaution.

  • We have hand-sanitation stations placed throughout the campus and at check-in computers and request that you use it before operating the check-in computers.

  • We have maintenance staff disinfecting commonly touched areas at a higher frequency. We will provide extra cleaning and sanitizing between services.

  • We will not pass our offering bags during our service as normal; instead, we ask that you either drop your tithe and offerings into one of the “Give Here” boxes in the Worship Center or give online. Click the “Give” button at the top of the home page or use your smartphone to give through “Smart Giving.” Smart Giving is the easiest and best way to give at TBC. If you’d like to be a smart giver, text “Triad Baptist Church” to 73256 from your smartphone and click the link to complete your gift.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

  • If you are not feeling well or have sick children, please stay home and watch our services live on Facebook. [TBC KIDS STREET CORONAVIRUS PROCEDURES]

  • If you are a senior citizen or immunocompromised, we encourage you to stay home and watch our services live on Facebook.

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.

  • If soap and water are not readily available, use hand sanitizer. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

HOW WE CAN PRAY

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind | 2 Timothy 1:7

As believers, we know that the power of prayer is the most important aspect of our lives. God is the Great Physician and our hope is found only in Him through His Word.

  • Praise God for His Sovereignty. He is and will continue to be in control of all things. Pray that we will trust Him to help us navigate this season of uncertainty.

  • Pray for wisdom of governmental leaders, the CDC, researchers, medical personnel, leaders in churches and other strategic places to respond wisely and appropriately.

  • Pray for unity between medical experts around the world as they work together for the well-being and health of all people.

  • Pray for the protection of physicians, emergency first responders, and other medical professionals who risk their lives to protect ours.

  • Pray for comfort and healing for those affected by the virus. Pray they will receive quality health care they need to regain health and strength. Pray for their healing and for the vaccine to cure and eradicate this virus.

  • Pray for the protection and safety of those considered to be "at high risk."

  • Pray for peace, calmness, freedom from fear, anxiety, and panic among individuals and communities.

  • Pray we would be proactive in proclaiming the Gospel and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. Pray this event would be a catalyst for revival.

Triad Baptist Church worship services are live-streamed and our sermons are archived and can be viewed at any time. Should you find yourself needing to stay home, we have online streaming. You can view our online services at the link below:
