It is with deep sadness that we share that Robert Steele, Executive Administrator of Triad Baptist Church and Triad Baptist Christian Academy, tragically passed away on Sunday evening, March 8, 2026.

Robert was a dedicated pastor and faithful servant who generously gave his time, wisdom, and tireless efforts to the ministry of Triad Baptist Church and Academy, as well as to the broader community. His leadership, encouragement, and steady presence have been a blessing to countless people over the years.

Beyond his ministry work, Robert was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and his love for his family and for the Lord was evident in every aspect of his life.

During this difficult time, we ask for continued prayer and respect for the Steele family, as well as for our church and academy staff, as we grieve this profound loss together.

Over the coming days, our church staff will walk together through this time of sorrow while remaining faithful to the mission God has given us—to advance the Gospel through our worship of our sovereign Lord and our continued outreach to our community.
