Nehemiah’s Few Annual Report

As I serve as navigator of this ministry, I am excited to see what God has in store as we enter our 23rd year. Our mission—restoring hearts and homes by providing needed repairs for members of our church family and community—continues to make a meaningful impact.

In 2025, our team completed 339 projects, providing 3,350 benevolent hours of labor, representing an estimated value of over $100,000. Since our inception, Nehemiah’s Few has completed more than 6,400 projects, contributing well over $2 million in free labor to serve our community.

Beyond the physical work, we are grateful for the opportunities God gives us to minister spiritually. Many times, we are able to share the Gospel, offer encouragement, and pray with those we serve—bringing hope and assurance during difficult seasons in their lives.

This year also marked our 33rd mission trip to Valley Haven Christian Camp, a continued highlight of service and fellowship for our team.

While installing step railings remains our most requested service, we also frequently build handicap ramps, repair decks, doors, and steps, and install grab bars. These efforts allow many individuals to live more safely and securely in their homes as they age.

I would like to personally thank the 633 individuals who have given their time—whether one day or many—over the years to serve through Nehemiah’s Few. To all who support this ministry through your prayers, encouragement, and financial gifts, thank you. Your partnership makes this work possible.

With sincere appreciation,
Harold Simcox, Ministry DirectorNehemiah's Few Banner 26
