ABOUT OUR SPEAKER: Jon is a native of Winston-Salem, NC. He has served for the last 14 years as lead pastor of Peace Haven Baptist Church in Yadkinville. He has been married to his wife, Rebekah, for 31 years; they have two sons, Jonathan (28) and Jared (25). Jon earned his Bachelors degree at Trinity Baptist College and his Masters of Ministry and a Masters of Biblical Studies at Piedmont International University (now Carolina University). His Doctorate of Ministry is from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with a concentration on biblical leadership. Jon’s favorite pastimes include: water skiing, snow skiing, dirt bikes and four wheeling. He says these are "all activities in which I am now too old to participate."
