Creation or Evolution? A faith defense from Genesis

Why has the church largely failed to convince anyone about abortion, divorce, homosexuality, drugs, and more?

The new Bible Institute course at Triad is based on Ken Ham's book, "The Lie: Genesis—The Key to Defending Your Faith."

Ken Ham argues it’s because many churches, Bible colleges, seminaries, and K-12 Christian and secular schools don’t accept the first 11 chapters of Genesis as literal history and teach evolution as scientific fact—undermining the Bible’s teaching and authority.

Learn the truth in an 18-week Triad Baptist Church Bible Institute course beginning 9:30 a.m. Nov. 9 in Room E-107. Organized in short media presentations and lectures, the course is based on Ham’s book, “The Lie: Evolution, Genesis—The Key To Defending Your Faith.”

“This debate is one of the most vital issues of our time,” said Dick Lockhart, Care Ministries director, which includes the Institute, Faithful Friends and hospital visitation.

“It is extremely important for all people to know the truth about origins,” Lockhart said. “The Christian especially needs to know the truth of the genesis account of creation. After all, if the Bible is false on its very first page, then how can any rational person have confidence in what follows from it?”
