For the past two years, Kevin has faithfully served as the Upward director over all sports in addition to directing basketball. Still, he makes time for what matters most to him. “Coach Peele” coaches several teams of kids across basketball and football. If this sounds like a lot of work, it’s because it is. “Kevin’s there almost every day of the week of practices, and he’s there pretty much all of Saturday,” Kluk said.

The audience of the book of Hebrews were Jewish Christians and they were getting hassled by the Jews in their community because they walked away from the teachings of Judaism, the Law, and the sacrificial system. The Jewish Christians were trusting in Christ alone and saw Him as far superior to anyone or anything else. They believed Jesus Christ was all they needed to trust and depend on.
