The Lord allowed me to be reared in a godly home where my parents encouraged a personal relationship with Christ. They valued church and Christian education and made sure that my sister and I understood the importance of loving Christ and serving others. At a young age I put my faith and trust in Christ Jesus. My life verse is found in Ecclesiastes, “whatsoever thy hand finds to do, do it with thy might.” (Ecclesisates 9:10) I believe my calling is to serve with all my might in efforts to proclaim the gospel of Christ. I began my undergrad journey at then Piedmont Bible College. I studied secondary English education and Biblical theology. As I maneuvered through life, I had the opportunity to teach, advise Student Government, and oversee special events such as school plays, yearbook, and fundraising endeavors at a Christian school. After about fifteen years, I felt led to work in a different capacity of ministry—the local church. In 2012 I began my new ministry at Triad Baptist in marketing, advertising, and development. As my heart still holds a special place for Christian education, the Lord allowed me to keep my “hands” in the academy! I graduated from Piedmont International University in 2013 with a Bachelors of Arts in Christian Ministries. I love being a part of this ministry and working in the area of growth and development through branding, advertising, and special events.
