TRIAD RINGERS

The Triad Ringers, a four-octave Malmark handbell choir, is one of the many outreach ministries of Triad Baptist Church. The choir began in 2008 with the purpose of performing music that would encourage, inspire, and most of all, point people toward Jesus Christ.

The Triad Ringers play regularly at Triad Baptist Church, as well as, provide music at local community events.

Handbells were first introduced in the United Stated in the early 1900’s. Since then, the number of arrangers, ringers, available handbell music, and handbell enthusiasts have grown. New techniques and ways to play the handbells are constantly being added to the already diverse list, making handbell choirs interesting, challenging, and fun to watch.

This dedicated group of approximately 16 ringers (including substitutes) represents a wide range of ages, music experiences, and careers—from teachers, musicians, accountants, legal professionals, contractors and more. Many of the ringers’ musical gifts extend beyond bells to the areas of: pianist, vocalist, instrumentalist—trumpet, clarinet, flute, baritone, and violin.
