Speaker: Erik Reed

Erik Reed is a pastor from Lebanon TN. He is a graduate of Western Kentucky University with a B.A. in Religious Studies & Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with a MDiv.
From Erik: "My life is a story of grace. I attended church as a child with my grandmother, who had a tremendous influence on me. I came to faith in Christ around the age of 9. But like many, I was not discipled, had no regular fellowship with God, & I eventually found myself living a very self-seeking life. Around the age of 21 I had a major spiritual awakening. I encountered the Living God in a real & fresh way & I was immediately transformed by the gospel. I began serving in a local church & soon felt called into ministry.
God has given me a passion for communicating His Word, both in preaching/teaching and writing. I have co-written three novels (The Guardian, The 13:Fall, The 13:Stand), multiple Bible studies for Threads, The Gospel Project, & Bible Studies for Life. I also served on the Advisory Team for the best-selling Bible study: Explore the Bible. I have written articles on church planting, as well as assess & train up-and-coming church planters."

Braden McKinley 16

Worship Leader: Braden McKinley & Triad Worship Band

From Braden: "Originally from San Diego, CA, I graduated from University of California, Irvine in 2008 with degrees in Music and Drama. Upon graduating, I knew God was calling me to use my love of worship, people and music for His glory and devote my life to leading others in worship. I believe our experience in worship opens a passageway for God to work powerfully in our life; to serve God with my gifts to help create opportunities for God to meet us in worship is both joyful and humbling for me to lead. I am currently earning my Master of Worship Studies degree at the Robert Webber Institute for Worship Studies."
