Contemporary Worship Leader
Contemporary Worship | AVL Director
Originally from San Diego, CA, I graduated from University of California, Irvine in 2008 with degrees in Music and Drama. Upon graduating, I knew God was calling me to use my love of worship, people, and music for His glory and to devote my life to leading others in worship. I believe our experience in worship opens a passageway for God to work powerfully in our life. To serve God with my gifts and to help create opportunities for God to meet us in worship is both joyful and humbling for me.
I have been in ministry for seven years, and Triad will mark my fourth position as a worship minister. Along the way, I have become highly competent in playing piano, organ, guitar, singing, and choral directing. I am currently earning my Master of Worship Studies degree at the Robert Webber Institute for Worship Studies. Having a family, being a husband and father, is one of the greatest joys of my life. I am blessed to be married to my wife, Ashley, since 2010 and to raise our two sons, Grant (b. 2012) and Thatcher (b. 2015). As a family, we feel very fortunate to call Triad our church home and are excited about the future God has for us in this community.
