Someone has well said life is a marathon. But I think it is more challenging than that because you really do not know where your finish line is until you actually cross it. The Bible says that as we run life's race we are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses. Just like fans cheering on their Olympian favorites, we are surrounded by cheering Old Testament giants encouraging us to run our race with success for God.
