End-of-Year Giving Challenge

As you prayerfully consider additional year-end contributions, let me challenge you to consider some unfunded projects and goals that we would like to pursue with the offerings that are above our regular monthly general fund needs for December:

• Continue to pay down our existing loan balance from our additional 92-acre land purchase (land closing was Dec. 2014).

• Additional 92 Acre Land Improvements:

Light grading for temporary recreation fields created on the flat portions.

Develop a two mile walking/running trail around the 92 acre property (to be completed by Feb. 2016 in order to avoid the city tax on unused land portions owned by the church).

Construct an onsite picnic shelter with additional large storage capabilities as well as pond improvements to also be used for recreation.

Your sacrificial end of the year gifts are part of the lifeline of our ability to continue doing ministry for the gospel of Jesus Christ. These up fits will provide a multitude of ways to invest in children through our Upward sports programs or our Kids Street children’s ministry. It will provide additional recreation and fellowship potential for our adult ministries. It will continue to help us to expand our ministries into the Kernersville community and beyond. Just think about the potential of opportunities to use recreation and the new land in creative ways to point lives toward Jesus Christ.

May God bless you this Christmas season,

Pastor Rob Decker
